Observation Paper: Secondary Education

The sh in allow day at which I have make my nones is Eastport southwestern Manor Jr. Sr. High School. During the twenty-five hours of observation time Ive had I have wise to(p) more things and have had a very positive experience. I learned how to deal with behavioral problems, the problems with this educate system and how the savants move with the teacher. The teacher I observed is John Dimarco, a teacher in the Physical Education department. Eastport South Manor, or more usu altogethery known as ESM, is located in the town of Manorville. It is a very rural ara with many farms and open land. on that point are 1,831 students in appearance. 92% of the students are white, 2% are African American, 5% Hispanic and 1% Asian (Evans). The teachers at this school are withal predominately white. The school is marvellous in size because it holds students from grades seven through twelve. The teacher to student proportionality ranges from 1:25 through 1:28. The students who attend this school appear to be financially comfortable. The homes surrounding the study were pear-shaped and with a piling of property. The cars of the students in the parking lot were also quite impressive. When speaking with some of the teachers at this school I had asked how they felt about the school. The general consensus was it works. They verbalize that the school didnt have too many behavioral problems and that judgeship as a whole was making it quite open that browbeat would not be tolerated. Walking through the halls, I did not see any clear signs or forms of bullying. The student-to-student conversations all sounded neighbourly and harmless to me. When speaking to Mr. Dimarco on this topic he had tell that his biggest problem wasnt bullying, but technology. He said the students could not live forty minutes with out their kiosk phones. He constantly confiscates electronic devices all day long. Its real sad, were his exact words.
